Finding shows and events
- To view our current events, first click either a location, venue or artist from the options at the left of the screen. Alternatively, enter the name of an artist into the Find tickets search field at the top of any page and then click Search. Next, select the show you wish to purchase tickets for.
- Once you click Add to shopping cart the concert or show will be added your shopping cart. You can then update the number of tickets in your shopping cart. by altering the number of tcikets that you need in the Quantity field.
- Repeat steps, 1 and 2 directly above until all the tickets that you want to purchase have been added to your shopping cart and then click Checkout. If this is the first time you have purchased tickets from BigTix then you will need to register before completing the checkout process.
Payment options
Payment can be made either by credit card, direct deposit or cheque.
Payments via credit card are normally approved immediately, direct deposit funds will take up to 48 hours to clear (weekend payments will not clear until the following Tuesday morning) and cheque payments will take up to 5 business days to clear after we recieve the cheque.
If you are making a payment by direct deposit or cheque please make sure you record your order number during the checkout process. Any payments not correctly identified my not be approved.
Credit card payments
BigTix use the Commonwealth Bank's online secure payment service for all credit card payments.
BigTix do not store or save any customer credit card details. When you click Pay by credit card you will be directed to the Commonwealth Bank's payment screen where you can enter your credit card details for the current transaction.
After the payment has been processed you will be returned to the BigTix website. Provided your transaction is approved you can print your ticket straight away.
Direct deposit payment details
When making a direct deposit payment, please ensure the order number for your transaction is included in the details for the direct deposit. Payments not correctly identified my not be approved.

Printing your tickets
Please note that, BigTix do NOT post tickets out to you in the mail. Please print your Ticket Purchase Order from your account and bring it along with your personnel identification to the show.
To enter a BigTix ticketed event you will require the following 2 pieces of information at the venue door on the night:
- Your identification, eg, drivers license or proof of age card
- Your Ticket Purchase Order detailing your personal transaction ID (this can be printed in your account after completing the checkout process. For direct deposit and cheque payments you will be able to print your Ticket Purchase Order after your payment has been approved.
Without these 2 pieces of information you will NOT be able to enter the event. Your Ticket Purchase Order will be exchanged for your tickets on the night.
Some BigTix ticketed shows do not use a physical ticket, instead, patrons are issued with a stamp at the door upon entry. Purchasing online tickets from BigTix will guarentee that you will receive an entry stamp.
Venue details
Entry to venues is based on the venues rules and regulations, BigTix has no influence in these matters. In the event of 18+ shows, venues operate in accordance with the Liquor Regulations of NSW 1983 and the only acceptable forms of identification are:
- A current photo driver's license
- A current passport
- An RTA proof of age card
Venue management reserves the right to refuse admission to any person and in such an event BigTix will not refund any admission fee paid.
Using your purchased tickets
You cannot nominate anyone else to pick up your tickets unless first gaining authorisation from BigTix managemnent via email. They will then provide information on how the tickets can be used.
Refunds in extenuating circumstances
Tickets are sold on a strict no refund or exchange basis. In the event of a cancelled show, you will be refunded the face value of the ticket less any booking fee.
In the event of a postponed show, you will be offered a refund or your ticket may be made valid to a re-scheduled show. In both instances please contact BigTix via email to check details.
The right is reserved by the event organiser to vary the advertised program and to add, withdraw or substitute artists where necessary.
Online ticket availability
Tickets are normally available up until 4:00pm on the day of the show unless sold out. When tickets are no longer listed on the BigTix website it does not necessarily mean that the particular show is sold out. Please check with the venue to see if door sales are available at the show.

BigTix engages third parties to provide services on your behalf, which may include collecting or processing your personal information. Examples of such third parties includes credit card payment providers. BigTix insists that any such third parties abide by Australian laws.
BigTix disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third parties, advertisers and/or sponsors of the BigTix service or which are in any otherwise way related to your use of the service.
